SnipingX ("We") strictly prioritizes the privacy and security of our users' data. This policy describes how we collect, use, store and protect your information when using the automatic last-minute bidding (sniping) application for eBay auctions.

Our data protection and privacy system is in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union and the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) of Brazil.

1. Data Collected and Use

We collect data strictly necessary to provide our bid automation services and offer exclusive SnipingX features.

eBay Account Data (via OAuth 2.0)

We use secure integration with the official eBay API via the OAuth 2.0 protocol to obtain authorization to: (a) Schedule and execute bids on your behalf; (b) Monitor the status of your active auctions; and (c) Manage multiple accounts.

Bid and Transaction Data

Includes the maximum bid amount you set, item ID, auction status and final price. This data is essential for calculating the success of advanced strategies like Group Budget Guard and Conditional Bid.

Subscription and Payment Data

We process payment information (selected plan, subscription status) to manage your plan (Free, Basic, Professional, Business). Note that we do not store your Credit Card data.

Usage and Performance Data

We collect aggregate metrics (Win Rate, Monthly Spending, bid trends) to provide Analytics and Reports and to optimize the performance of the sniping system.

Notification Data

Includes your email and, depending on the plan (Basic+), phone number for SMS alerts and Push Notifications about auction status.

Our Trust Differential: OAuth 2.0

SnipingX does not store your eBay credentials (username and password). We use the OAuth 2.0 authorization standard, the same used by major technology companies, to ensure secure integration. Your authentication data remains with eBay.

2. Security Measures

We implement robust measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

Encryption

Sensitive data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).

Payment Security

Transaction processing delegated to Stripe and PayPal gateways, PCI DSS Level 1 certified.

Platform Compliance

We operate 100% within eBay policies, using only the official API.

Audit

We maintain complete logs in the BidLog system for traceability and audit of all actions.

3. Your Privacy Rights (LGPD/GDPR)

As the data subject, you have rights that we guarantee compliance with. To exercise any of these rights, use the contact channels indicated in Section 5.

You can request complete deletion of your personal data at any time.

You can request a copy of your personal data in a structured format (JSON/CSV).

You have the right to access and correct your incomplete or outdated data.

You can oppose data processing for direct marketing purposes or in specific cases provided by law.

4. Data Sharing

Your data is shared only with third parties essential to the operation of the service, under strict terms of confidentiality and security:

eBay Inc.: Necessary to place bids and track auctions. SnipingX acts as your agent.
Payment Providers (Stripe/PayPal): To process subscriptions and manage plan lifecycle.
Notification Providers: Third-party services are used to send emails, SMS, and Push Notifications.

Note on Innovation

Aggregated and anonymized data, without any personal identification, may be used in the future to train our AI Price Prediction models. You will have the right to opt out of using this anonymized data, as provided in GDPR/LGPD.
